In 2005, NuEra showcased her designs at a fashion show where Dr Amy Khor’s( Mayor, SWCDC) was the guest-of-honour.

We have been invited to various clubs and school to host fashion shows as well as to spread the appreciation of our Asian heritage and culture.

Recently, we gave a talk on “ The History of the Cheongsam”at British Club.

We have also been commissioned to design jackets for members and guests-of-honour at a recent ICPAS (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore) Shanghai Night D&D Event.

Early 2006, Mrs Christine Sim, finalist of Woman’s Weekly “Great Women of Our Times award” not only chose one of our outfits for her special moment, also selected NuEra’s store as the site for her photo shoot! What an honour!

One of Nuera’s recent design showcased in TODAY newspaper. This custom design outfit for Ms Sylvia Lim was made using a mix of Western and Asian fabric – namely chiffon silk batik.

During the 2008 Great Singapore Sale we showcased our designs at a fashion show.
